The Portland Cheat Sheet
Interact with the World Around You
Hi, I'm Taryn. I designed & launched the Portland Cheat Sheet almost 20 years after first thinking about it. After a years-long hopeless and frustrating stretch searching for housing, I took my biggest dream and finally put it out into the world.

I've never earned more than working class wages and was tired of saying I was broke and there was nothing to do. I also felt really alone and isolated, and wanted to encourage more of us to interact in our communities, not just people who could afford it.
I work full time checking hundreds of websites for free events, 100% surviving off donations, grants, and ads. It's no coincidence the local media publishes more free events now than they did before, thanks to people like you and me who care about this stuff.
Please support my vision: Everything Free to Do for ALL. As a one-woman band, I sincerely can't keep this running without your help.
